BridgeInspectTM Collector

Software Screenshots
The version shown is using Pennsylvania forms.  Each state or railroad would have the appropriate forms used.

Inspectors are first asked to login in to the program.  Each inspector can be assigned permission to bridges they have permission to view and perform inspections on. Once an inspector has been authenticated they are able to view all of the bridges they have access to.  These bridges can be organized a number of different ways.    For each bridge an inspection report can be started, continued, or submitted for review.

When an inspector starts a new inspection for a bridge they are taken to the main inspection window.  The top tabs represent the main data entry categories.  The bottom row of tabs shows the specific data entry forms for the selected categories.  The main window shows the selected form. An inspector can click on any field and enter in information.   The right hand side bar changes based on what field is clicked in.   If the field has options available those options can be easily chosen from a drop-down list and automatically update the form field.  Additionally, thumbnail images of bridge inspection manual pages related to that item are shown.

By clicking on the thumbnail of the bridge inspection manual the full size image can be viewed.   By clicking across the top tabs the main forms chose to allow the inspector to quickly enter in additional information.

Pictures, sketches, and other files can be easily added into the report.  Simply select the file from the camera or disk you want to load in.   The software inserts the picture and generates a thumbnail for the user. At any time the pictures and sketches can be re-ordered and descriptions entered for use in the report to be generated.

Additional maintenance needs can be described and pictures automatically referenced. The report sections can be organized to appear in the desired order and additional PDF files inserted.

PDF files of the report are automatically generated and organize all of the text, pictures, sketches, rating values, and appendixes in the desired format.  Above is an example of just two pages (the cover and a pictures page). An example of the Element Level Inspection screen for a bridge.  Condition states for each element are given.  By clicking in each box the definition of the state for the given element is shown on the right-hand side bar.
