Frequently Asked Questions

Q: We already have a Microsoft Access file that contains some information on our bridges.  Do we have to start all over or can we use this information?
A:
The BridgeInspectTM Manager software can be configured to use legacy information that you have available in Access, Excel or many other popular formats.  Please make sure to mention this to us and also provide us with a sample of the data.

Q: We already have a work order system that all departments have to use. Can we integrate BridgeInspectTM Manager with it?
A:
Yes, BridgeInspectTM Manager has been designed so that it can be easily integrated with other software that might already be in place. Work order systems are just one of many different software programs that the BridgeInspectTM Manager can be integrated with.

Q: Does the BridgeInspectTM Manager have a built-in deterioration model?
A:
BridgeInspectTM Manager does not currently have a built-in deterioration model for bridges. There are several popular models that can be applied. Potential clients could chose to implement themselves or have InspectTech implement a standard Markov model.

Q: What database does BridgeInspect Manager use to store bridge data?
A:
The BridgeInspect Manager uses Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to store data. InspectTech can easily import data from existing SQL databases or other data sources.
